As a natural material, every leather we use has its own personality. Full-grain leather is the thoroughbred of the leather world. The crème de la crème. Found directly underneath the hair line, this top layer of the hide has the tightest grain pattern, making it the strongest type of leather. Additionally, since the grain is so tight, it resists moisture very well. Over time, full-grain leather will improve its appearance, developing a patina with continued handling.
